About Rebecca
Bio
I started working in orthopaedics mobilising patients pre- and post-surgery. I specialised in rehabilitation with hip and knee replacements. I then went onto work as a community Physiotherapist developing rehabilitation programmes with neurological patients in their homes. The experience of interacting with patients in the community within their home environment has been of huge value, enabling me to be exposed to a raft of different musculoskeletal rehabilitation and bringing patients back to their best form.
I am keen runner and understand the challenges around maintaining the body and how to keep it optimized, enabling people to achieve their full potential no matter the background, age, or discipline.
All my programs are designed around the induvial. I work with people to create unique programs for each, and everyone aligned to their lifestyle, goals, and ambitions.
My key focus is musculoskeletal. Step one is to assess, then consult and then devise a bespoke plan to treat and rehabilitate those conditions. The service I deliver is goal based, which takes time.
My bespoke service is a journey, designed to help patients achieve their potential and work with them to deliver continued support and guidance.
Having spent time and with experience, I took what I learnt from the community I went on to develop my own practice in Musculoskeletal working with runners and patents with reduced mobility.
I am passionate about my work and continue to train and develop my knowledge in alternative therapies and modalities. I have recently completed a foundation course in Acupuncture and Dry needling accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and I am also an approved member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
